DLA's 21st Annual Meeting Details

On September 9-10, 2005, we will celebrate our twenty-first Annual Meeting in Hanover, New Hampshire. In addition to the business meeting and social events, we will be offering an outstanding CLE panel on “The CSI Effect: What Juries Expect- A Criminal and Civil Perspective.” The featured presenter will be Mark Hurlbert ’91, Eagle County, Colorado District Attorney, who was the lead prosecutor in the Kobe Bryant criminal proceeding. Catherine Tucker ’93 is coordinating the program, which promises to be timely and intriguing.

We are again welcoming families in connection with our social events. If you have children, please plan to bring them along for what promises to be a beautiful New England fall weekend.

Registration will take place on Friday, September 9th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Hayward Lounge at the Hanover Inn, followed immediately by our welcoming cocktail party. DLA members will receive this invitation by mail with a registration form you can complete and return with your check to confirm your attendance. You can also register and pay online at our website (www.dla.org) following the directions there for Annual Meeting Registration.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hanover Inn (603-643-4300). They will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please make your own reservations, identifying yourself as being with the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. Other lodgings in the area include the Norwich Inn (603-649-1143), Sunset Motor Lodge in West Lebanon (603-298-8721), Holiday Inn Express in Lebanon (603-448-5070), the Ramada Inn in White River Junction (802-295-3000), the Hampton Inn in White River Junction (802-296-2800), the Fireside Inn (formerly Radisson Inn) West Lebanon (603-298-5906), and the Marriott Residence Inn at the Centerra Development on Route 120 (603-643-4511). Make your reservations soon, since it will be a busy time in the Hanover area.
